Flea Market Fun

Last Sunday I went with Isabel to our favorite monthly flea market. Once we got there I met my good friend Casey who lives nearby. It has been at least three years since I’ve seen Casey even though she lives only an hour away. We both decided that we were losers for not making more of an effort, but it was really good to see her.

As always, I found several treasures to bring home. Behold the flea market finds.DSCF0796

Gorgeous old mirror.

Misc. old metal drawer pulls and silver toast caddy.

DSCF0798

Wedding topper. (Love the back of it!)

DSCF0799

Two cute clocks.

DSCF0800

Two bracelets (these make lovely napkin rings), baby spoon and pretty hanky.

DSCF0801

Cool old mirror with chippy black paint, misc. bling and belt buckle.

DSCF0802

Pair of rose bud pillowcases.

DSCF0803

Another mirror, lady print, three small frames and metal trivet.

And finally, a big jar of misc. bling. This is just a sampling of what I found in there. (Love that tiny blue corduroy purse.) It’s always so much fun to sort through a big jar of jewelry after you get home. Just prolongs the flea market fun.

Coming up: Another “Dreaming of Paris” Post.

I'm jealous. I've been making pendants out of spoon handles and vintage "bling." I love your selections!

What a darling, darling blog, sweetpea. I'm sure I've been here before though and loved it. Maybe I'll do some thrift store shopping soon to see what I can come up with also.

Connie

The tiny blue purse caught my eye right away. I too love looking through jars or bags of "stuff" that I bring home. Good finds,
Annette

WOW! What a great bunch of goodies! The curve-y white vintage clock ?? I have it's black sister in my front room ... and have loved it for ages (since I was a kid. Also a great score on the trivet ... was kinda wondering if I could trade a bunch of vintage doilies with the same roses as your pillowcases for it? Hmmm .... you probably love it too much, but let me know!
Hugs!
