A Fun Saturday

Instead of working on projects, Isabel and I headed out to the Whimsical Wishes Sale in Camas, WA. This sale was being hosted by Julie and Krista of Kindred Roses. The weather was a little drizzly, but that didn't dampen our spirits or the fun we had shopping. Isabel found lots of cool stuff and I did too, but I really tried to limit myself to just a few neat items.

Here are some pictures of the great vendors boothsJo Dee and Kat from DuchessSue and Isabel shoppingCute Diane

I was so pleased to see Lisa, Carol Lee and Peggy who all came over from Central Oregon. Their booths were wonderful and filled with all kinds of good stuff. You may remember I went to their sale on a recent visit to Redmond. They told me that they were so glad I posted pictures of their sale and they have another one coming up this summer.

Congratulations to Julie and Krista on an excellent sale.

After leaving the sale, we made a stop at the Camas Antique Mall. It was fun to see some of our favorite antiquing buddies (Diane, Martha, Joe and Sue) there as well. Again, trying to be good, I only got a couple tiny things there.

We then headed south towards Monticello where the Spring Home and Garden Sale was in full swing. The cars lined up outside was a good sign of lots of shoppers inside. Here, I wasn't so good. I found several items, all smalls, but good stuff. Isabel found a few cute things too.

Here are some of the pictures I promised to take of my new and improved space. There were a few holes so that was good (people were buying my stuff). I apologize once again for the dark pictures. My camera and photography skills, not the greatest and that window makes it hard to get good shots, but you can get the gist.

So, do you want to see what I bought? Here it is.

Vintage moulding and hooks coat rack, two small platters, roll of vintage wallpaper, blue flower pot, some small bling, old bottle, cute tiny sugar bowl, charm bracelet with heart and some cute vintage drawer pulls.

I want to send a special shout out to Laurie of AView from the Coop. Met her for the first time at the Whimiscal Wishes sale. She will be at Barn House for the Season Opening on May 9th with her buddy Debbie of Worthy Goods. (Love that name!) We ran into Laurie again at Monticello. She is a super nice gal and I'm sure we'll be running into her all the time now.

That's it for me now. Back to project central.

We really like your blog and are going to ad it to our blog roll. You should think about coming to our show in Puyallup. It is going to be a blast. Maybe you should be a vendor, JoDee and Kat of Dutchess are doing it, along with Debi Ward Kennedy and Todays Country Store. With all of these fun people and more, it is bound to be a good time. Just bring us your leftover stuff from Farm Chicks, we are happy with that! visit our blog for more info. http://www.funkyjunksisters.blogspot.com
