Checking In

I just realized that I haven’t posted in over a week.  Not a good blogger lately.  So sorry.  The truth is, not much is going on around here.  Just enjoying these last days of summer with the kids before they head back to school.  Both in high school this year, yikes! Where did the time go?

One exciting thing that happened in the last week was I sold thisDSCF0874

You might remember me mentioning this piece a time or two.  It most recently made its appearance at my new Stars mall space and I received a call on Sunday that it sold.  I couldn’t be more thrilled.  While in my humble opinion this was an awesome find, it was also so, so very heavy.  I’m glad it has gone on to a new home and I’ll never have to move it again.  My husband is very happy too.

Have hit a few thrift stores this past week, but pickins have been slim.  Nothing too terribly exciting to show.  What I really need to do is get busy working on some of the projects that are cluttering up the garage.  I do have one more show to do before the end of summer.  I will be at Coburg, Sunday after Labor Day at the Coburg Antique Faire with Isabel and lots of our junking friends.

But, before then, I’ll be making a little trip up to Camas, Washington to check out the Camas Antique Faire.  This show is sure to be great as it is being set up by two of my very favorite people, Debbie and Laurie or Worthy Goods. Click on the link to get more info. I’ll be looking for some good vintage stuff including buttons and vintage bling, but seriously, do you think I need more?

Just saying.  Whoever said “less is more” was just crazy!  ha ha If you’re in the area you shouldn’t miss this show. TTFN!

I will be able to respond from my phone...thanks for the interest-lots of other store items would look good in your mall space, too! If it works for you to see it today, just call me and I will be sure I am at the store when you arrive!

Your rhinestones are to die for. Gives me an idea to post mine.

There's always room for more bling, in my opinion! I love the views of your collection, and I'd love to pick through that bowl of buttons!
