White Wednesday~Vintage Finds

Last weekend I took my favorite girl with me to pick up a craigslist find and to dig through the bins (Goodwill Outlet). Seems I’ve gotten her hooked on thrifting which I couldn’t be happier about. While I look for neat and unique vintage goodies, she looks for funky and interesting clothes, shoes and accessories. On that particular day I found a lot of good stuff and managed to fill my cart for a mere $24.00. Did I mention that I love the bins? Here are just a few of my White Wednesday finds.

Adorable cast iron doll chair.

Eight lace pillowcase edges.

Pinafore and bloomers were found at the bins in separate bins. I think they were part of a Raggedy Ann costume. The creamy white fluffy crinoline was found at the flea market by Mitzi’s husband, John. What a great guy!

Project dresser found on craigslist. Still needs work on the drawers, but this one will soon be going to my Stars & Splendid mall space.

And finally, a little project I worked on at Leah’s house last week. Inspired by this gal, I made a few of these cute wristlets or wrist cuffs, using vintage lace, trim and buttons. Love these!

I know I have more white finds to show you, just can’t figure out where they are. I did find lots of great pillow forms and will be making some lovely pillows to put in my mall spaces and to take to my next show, the Barn House flea market. But before that, it’s family vacation time, so I will be taking a little break on my blog. TTFN dear friends!

I just have a THING FOR YOUR BLOGGIE! :)

Great finds. Want to share? My stock is getting low!

What in the world are we going to do when the surplus of great finds from the 1940's on gets depleted?

:(

Lisa that dresser is so darling. I loved the one that was at the show and still bummed that my friend could not get it in her car. I have loved that thing since the first time I saw it on your blog. Your laces are awesome finds too.
I got some lovely pics of your stuff at the show. I did a couple of post about the Farm Chicks show. It was such an amazing time for this Idaho girl and her two friends. I hope to see you next year. (with a truck)!!!
