If you’re like me, you like the move things around from time to time. I can get a little bored looking at the same things in the same places all the time. A couple weeks ago when I was redoing the mantel to include my new mirror, I decided I needed to redo a few other areas in the living room as well. Here are a few pictures of my efforts. It was a pretty gray day that day so please forgive the poor lighting.
You may not believe this looking at these pictures, but I have actually weeded out some of my collections a bit. Several of my pink flower pots have landed at Monticello and I even took a few white ones to my Stars & Splendid booth.
I’ve been reading about Kim’s upcoming trip to France and it’s making me think it’s time for another “Dreaming of Paris” post so that will be coming up soon.

Oh my gosh.... you have more stuff than I do... I always weed it out and seem to fill it right up again... I am going to have a garage sale this spring and part with some things.... But I will have plenty... For some reason I just love to be surrounded by things I love..... But also noticed I am letting them become a bit more dusty than I did in the past, Not good...
Oooooooooo, it looks awesome! So springy and cheery!
Hugs,
Sheila
There is only so much room in one house. I understand the need to 'weed out' and have done it myself. However my husband says it makes no sense to take boxes of things out, only to return with other things. Oh Well!

Hi Lisa,
I am still in awe of all of your collections. I love it all, oh these pink planters!!! If you have too much, you can send it my way! Better still, I will come to your home, and shop! LOL

Love the baskets, the pottery and the tole trays....oh, heck, I love it all.
Very pretty collections. I spied a few things that I would like to collect myself, namely the wedding cake toppers and rose paintings. Do I really need another collection?

Your collections are just fabulous, and I especially appreciate your cake toppers. I collected those myself for many years, then sold off all but a handfull, and now I'm collecting them again. They're so charming!
I love all of your collections, Lisa, and how you've decorated with them. Just looks fabulous!
I am really loving those roses paitings (of which I collect myself!) Actually there are heaps of things I love, fantastic photos even if it was grey day!

I too am dreaming of France. Maybe if we dream hard enough it will come true. Lisa I wanted to know where you got the Log Jamin quilt pattern, I love it. Florence
Hi Lisa, I feel the same as you, always changing the look! One of my friends once said "decorating is NEVER done!" And I couldn't agree more. I love all of your collections - and those curtains - just beautiful! Have a great week and I think I am going to re-think my living room tomorrow!!!

Hi- just discovered your charming blog and I've really enjoyed looking at your lovely items! I'm looking forward to reading more!
You have some really, really beautiful collections and displays.
Love little handled baskets. I have been admiring these at several of the local antiques shops, but haven't made the leap yet. Your collection, as well as setting them all together, is simply fabulous!
