White Wednesday and Some Recent Finds

It’s been awhile since I’ve done a White Wednesday post, and since a lot of my recent finds are white, I thought I would give it another go.

Two vintage white dressers!  Love them!

Adorable old children’s cafeteria bench found last weekend at a sale in my neighborhood.  There were three, I only bought one.  Now I’m kicking myself for not buying them all.  So cute!

Two vintage white lace edged towels found at the Camas Antique Faire.  Keepers!

I also got this adorable slipcovered broom from my good buddy, Joe!  Now sweeping will be so much more fun!

My newest bling buckle.  Love all the whites and sparkles!

Not white, but will be, extra long table. The top will be stained, but the legs and apron will get the shabby white treatment.  I got this one at Melanie’s sale last Friday.

More weekend finds, the little lamp, drop leaf table, curtain rings, wicker basket and bingo cards also came from Melanie’s sale.  I also got a cute vintage market cart which will be getting a cute liner and will be headed to the Coburg antique faire. The McCoy roses vase, hankies and crochet purse all came from garage sales in my neighborhood.

This cute sewing cabinet was a thrift store find.  I’m going to add a couple rose decals to the lids and it’ll be perfect!

And finally,

My hunt for vintage bling was successful.  If you can believe it, all of these buttons  came off  of a bracelet Isabel found at the Oregon City Antique Faire for me.  More button charm bracelets will be coming soon!

Lots to do: bracelets, shopping cart liners, painting, ironing.  What to do first?  Well, I made some chocolate chip muffins for the kids this morning, I think I’ll go have one while I decide.  Hopefully will be back soon with some completed projects. Have a very happy Wednesday!

  2. What fun things! I need to shop where you shop. Wouldn't have been cool to stack the children's lunch benches to make some cool shelves?
    Love all the bling!

  10. One of the buttons on your new belt buckle is just like the ones I had on a fancy dress my Mom made me in the first grade! Now that's an OLD button! It was fun to see it again. Funny the things you remember.
    Love all your new stuff.

  11. I love all of your finds, but the ruffled broom cover has to be the most unique! I'm intrigued by the bling, and will check back to see what you create with it.....
