Monday Morning Blues

I’m not sad. In fact, I’m feeling pretty good as the sun finally came out this weekend which motivated me to get busy working on some projects. No, the blues I’m referring to are a few blue items I bought while out thrifting last week. I once read that people are either green or blue people. Usually, I consider myself more of a green person, but maybe I am a blue person after all.

Love the gorgeous blue night gown with the rosette. Found this at Aunt Addie’s Attic in Hillsboro.  The lace edge sexy baby blue top and the blue eyelet runner both came from the Goodwill bins.  And finally, the vintage blue lamp came from Value Village.  Part of the metal is broken, but I will most likely take this cutie apart and create a new lamp from these and other pieces in my stash.

Want to see more vintage finds? Okay, your wish is my command.

Hand painted roses platter and lovely vintage light cover.

009

Cute pair of horse paint by numbers. Perfect for Farm Chicks!

007

A bit of bling.

005

Vintage flower pots and postcards.  Love the boy riding the turkey on the left side.

And finally, one of my absolute most favorite vintage finds.

004

A whole bunch of vintage rhinestone buttons!  This find totally made my day!

Happy Monday!

  4. My heart skipped a beat with the buttons. What luck! You found lots of good things this weekend.

I think I'm a green person, too. But blue is mighty pretty and your blue things prove that.
