It's beginning to look a lot like Christmas!

Yesterday it started snowing at about 8 in the morning and it didn't stop all day. It was a perfect day to stay home and bake Christmas cookies for my neighbors. I made four different kinds and I want to make a couple more so I'll probably be doing that today.

Now, for those of you who get a lot of snow in the winter, you won't understand how much we here in the PNW love the snow. We don't get it very often and usually if we do, it's not much. Here are a couple pictures I took just outside my house.

After the cookie making was done for the day, I decided to bundle up and go for a walk. My daughter had to go to a friend's house to work on a school project so we walked together part of the way. I have been a really good girl lately and have been walking a lot, but let me tell you something. Walking in the snow is hard work. I was really tired when I got home, but it was a good tired.

I still had to decorate the Christmas tree we got last weekend, so I had hubby bring down the Christmas boxes and I went to town decorating. I miss the days when the kids use to help me, but there's something to be said for getting to put things where you want them. This year, I only used the decorations I really like and I'm very happy with how everything turned out. Here are a few pictures I took of my Holiday Home.

I got this adorable ornament from Michelle. Last year I bought two similar from her (one shown in the picture directly above this one), but I think this one is my favorite.

Well, the kids will be home from school today. It will be a great day to work on some projects. Have a super Monday!
